Where's the BEST place to farm spin metal?? (CLOSED)
Currently working on exotic sword. I've heard rocketyard is a good location, but haven't had much success.
Edit: Finished! I got bolt caster!

I did it in 3 hours in skywatch, just make sure u have a spinmetal ghost and run around the outside, there's about 5-6 general areas it spawns, also its on a timer so when u grab one just keep moving

The divide grab chest and the spin metal I farm anywhere from 50 to 60 every 30 mins

Edited by Rei: 1/30/2016 4:29:01 AMMy favorite location is the Skywatch. Distances are pretty short, and if you can do a few "kill enemies" missions while you're at it, things respawn pretty fast.

2 RepliesThe easiest way would be to travel back in time to one week prior to HoW and farm Key Chests. 6-10 spinmetal every chest depending on the amount of times you can ride your sparrow to and from different zones and the chest.

Here's how I did it. I go down on Earth, then farm the steppes. I go to moth yards and farm. I then go to Skywatch and farm. After that I got back to moth yards, then steppes, and so on. If there is no spinmetal, simply go to orbit and the Spinmetal will be back. Some tips for farming are Have a ghost that marks Spinmetal Try to remember which spinmetal you took as your ghost marks it even if you take it Have a sniper. If you aim down sights with a sniper, it marks where Spinmetal is. Last but not least, be very patient.
