Don't bother with chests, they don't give up the goods you need. If possible, put on a ghost that marks spinmetal (even if you have to buy one from speaker (it's worth the time saved)). Use Sniper to scope the area. The ghost and sniper will highlight spinmetal in the area. It's a pain in the ass to run the mats section, but can be made easier with the right equipment. I did each section of the three swords back to back. Took me 3 evenings to get the mats for all 3. If you are on PS4, give me a shout when you are ready to fight the Warden and Alak. If I'm around, I'll join the fight!!! I enjoy that fight and have helped quite a few people finish the sword quest.
