Rocket yard or the divide are good. Make sure to have a ghost that shows spinmetal nodes and whip a sniper (zooming in will show all spinmetal on the area. When looking for the rare material for the swords, I found it helped to move onto the next area over whenever I found one and then go to orbit between every 2 or 3. Seemed to help the drop rate but could just be coincidence.
