Just want to put it out there for anyone who hasn't made the connection that Eris was sort of a guardian at one point and she looks like she used to be a psychic for the Queen of the reef. [spoiler]i know wiki says she is a hunter but I call BS - she looks a lot like the psychic sidekicks of MARA SOV which help her channel her own energy as seen in the Trailer of the battle within the rings of Saturn. I would have given her backstory as being a loyal supporter of Mara Sov tasked with Recon for the queen as well as her ambassador for relations with the speaker. .... Just saying ... [/spoiler]
