Currently, the Warlock's three subclasses are all great for PvP, no doubt about it. However, two are mediocre at best for PvE, the other 80% of the game. And of course, both of the subclasses I'm talking about are Voidwalker and Sunsinger, the Year 1 subclasses.
Right now, Voidwalker is considerably the most underwhelming Warlock subclass in PvE. The Nova Bomb seems to have falloff damage if it doesn't smack head on (unsure tbh), it tickles Ultras and Heroic Majors, and we have the only Super that can kill ourselves. Then, there are certain nodes that are not worth using, such as Lance, Angry Magic, etc.
For Sunsinger, it needs to actually be a support class. You don't see a whole lot of people running Song of Flame, the part that makes it a support class. If in PvP, it's usually Radiant Skin. If PvE, it's usually Fireborn. On top of that, most of the nodes that would help boost it's supportive role are usually too underwhelming to matter. Pure examples are Sunburst and Solar Wind. Therefore, I'm providing some ideas for how the subclass can be buffed for PvE.

[u]Focused Burst:[/u] [i]Now applies speed boost to entire Glide duration. Renamed to Focused Speed.[/i]
[u]Vortex:[/u] Vortex continually damages foes inside. [i]No damage falloff from Nova Bomb.[/i]
[u]Lance:[/u] Nova Bomb flies farther and faster. [i]Stay in place when prepping the Nova Bomb.[/i]
[u]Angry Magic:[/u] [i]Increase in tracking[/i] ([u][b]Do NOT make it 0.04% in tracking![/b][/u])
[u]Soul Rip:[/u] Kills will reduce both your Nova Bomb [i]and grenade[/i] cooldown
[u]The Hunger:[/u] Duration of Energy Drain is increased. [i]Increased melee speed while Energy Drain is in effect.[/i]
[u]Embrace the Void:[/u] Damage with grenades and Nova bomb activate Energy Drain effect. [i]Kills with Nova Bomb instantly restore health. +1 Armor added.[/i]
[u][i][b]Sunsinger:[/b][/i][/u]
[u]Song of Flame:[/u] Radiance reduces all cooldowns for nearby Allies. [i]Allied Supers gain reduced cooldown. Larger AoE.[/i]
[u]Solar Wind:[/u] [i]Enemies ignited from a longer distance.[/i]
[u]Sunburst:[/u] Killing an enemy with Scorch has a chance to drop [i]two[/i] Orbs of Light. [i]One orb of light guaranteed.[/i]
[u]Angel of Light:[/u] Aiming weapon while in air holds you in place briefly. [i]+1 Armor added and faster weapon movement while aiming down sights in midair.[/i]
Deej, Cozmo, or anyone else on the Bungie team reading this. Please consider this and whatever comments people put below relating to stats. The Warlocks need to have their Year 1 Supers brought up to Year 2 standards so they're more useful again. Also, please consider rebalancing [i]EVERY[/i] subclass, not just the Warlock's or Hunter's. [u]Balance every subclass so it has [b]equal viability in both PvE and PvP![/b][/u]
