A couple of rockets and some heavy machine gun bullets...hate to say it but he was the smart player in that situation.
Your team got one single kill, used up multiple rockets and heavy ammo, and his distraction probably insured that his team got their heavy and was safely away from the heavy spawn and ready for your team's advance.

In trials we always send our most talented guy to their heavy spawn. He will usually kill one or distract them for long enough we can then rocket the enemy heavy before they grab it.
