Within the last 5 minutes I popped my storm caller on heavy and one hammer sent me packing.
No it doesn't need to be nerfed. You just have to catch him or her quick or from a distance as a group.
Almost any of the other supers can shut one down.

True I even shut down a Stormcaller as a Sunsinger once.

Yup. I played the last IB as a storm caller, gunslinger and sun breaker all to 5. I shut down storm callers with a primary or a hammer or a GG or a shotgun a lot more times then I shut down any other super. It's a fun super, but a risky one. Leave it alone.
