got Kicked for not having defender
I joined a group a few days ago for kingsfall. Right when we were launching, they said. If you are a titan and you dont have defender tell me. I said it because I never unlocked it. Right when we got to land I got kicked for not having defender...
Edit : I was not the only titan, There were two other people with defender so why did they need mine?
edit 2 : You can finish kingsfall withought a bubble, it just makes it easier for you with weapons of light.
edit 3 : you can not always depend on defender, You can do any raid withought a titan bubble. Like I said THERE WAS 2 TITANS, why can't they just pick them?
edit 4, I will upgrade my defender.

edit 7, To all the people who Just tell me Im a noob or just level it up. I know where you are coming from and I understand. Yes I will level it up and I understand why you actually would call me a noob.
edit 8. Why are you all so Salty On me 😂 makes me laugh, Already said..I will level up defender. Probably some of you are the people who kick a person for not having a certain thing.
edit 9. Finally leveled up defender :)

3 RepliesSorry but I agree with them. It's not their job to carry you. If you can't even level the subclass most effective for raids then it shows your level of dedication to helping the team. That's your problem and not theirs.

Most people would have kicked you. Stop complaining on forms and lvl defender

2 RepliesNot a big fan of abrupt kickings, but I can definitely understand the urge to do it in that situation. As a random joining someone else's fireteam, it's really not up to you to determine that the team already has enough of anything. Warlocks catch a lot of shit in the KF raid because they really don't have a strong team support super like Shadow Shot and WoD, but they at least have Self Res that can at least save a wipe in the right situation. You didn't even bring that to the table. I will say this though, an extra Titan with smash does wonders in the Golgoroth pit when the Taken round comes.

If they already had 2 defenders I don't see the reason for kicking you. Hell, even hard mode can be done easily with one defender.

I mean, if you don't have defender... You are more useless than a warlock in the raid. Melting point is nice though for golgoroth

2 RepliesIm usually the only defender in my raid group. Any more than 1 is redundant unless you expect deaths at the bosses.

I hate to sound like an asshole but I can understand why they kicked you. Defender is the titan subclass people want most. They were probably of the mind set that your titan would be a safety net if one of the other two went down. Leveling it sucks ass (to me anyways) but it is the most expected class for a titan. That said, I would have given you a shot before deciding to boot you. Good luck next time.

It's easier to oryx with 2 bubbles but you can do it with 1. I know when I run a group I always make sure we have a minimum of 2 titans and 1 hunter. It just makes the raid go 10 times faster. Hell I would have put you to could use at golgoroth and had you use melting point right at the start of our dps because its better than a tether. But due to the fact that this had already happened to you once now. You should probably level up your defender imo. It could hold you out of groups later on from what you have already seen. But in the end its your decision if you want to spend the time (or money) to level it up

So you don't have the best PvE class opened up for PvE? And you're doing raids? You deserved the boot. Hint: do bounties. It doesn't take long to level up.

Since they already had two defenders it wasn't necessary for you to have your defender maxed out. That's being said it's a super useful subclass which benefits the entire fireteam. Max it out asap

3 RepliesWell, I kind of leaning towards OP, they already had 2 defenders so what's the harm ? It's not like Warlocks help the team all that much. (I know all about how radiance orb produces - save a few responses there). We play so many raids, why not mix it up a bit with a Titan throwing a hammers or a Stormtrancing Warlock, if you can.

By now the raid is easy enough to play around in and have fun.

I would of kicked you too. A raid is a team sport. Without defender you're not really being a team player, And thus considerably less useful than someone who is. Like one time I was running the raid with a Warlock who made a point not to tell anyone he was exclusively a Voidwalker. And when he kept dying from the tomb ships we eventually asked... Why no self rez? He said I'm a Voidwalker exclusively..... Which wouldn't have been to much of a problem if he had told us and worked with us to make his nova bomb/other abilities useful. I never saw the guy throw a nova bomb cause he didn't want anyone to know he wasn't contributing to the team. I told him to start throwing that nova bomb at orges when I tether them or else his super is just wasted. He did and we beat oryx. Moral of the story. If you're not contributing to the team with the skills you have access to then you really have no place on the team.

You mentioned it's easy to use weapons of light. I would strongly suggest you use blessing to take advantage of the infinite ammo and double damage. If you want to use other weapons than the touch, that's fine with weapons of light but you better be able to carry your own weight and not cause any hiccups.
