got Kicked for not having defender
I joined a group a few days ago for kingsfall. Right when we were launching, they said. If you are a titan and you dont have defender tell me. I said it because I never unlocked it. Right when we got to land I got kicked for not having defender...
Edit : I was not the only titan, There were two other people with defender so why did they need mine?
edit 2 : You can finish kingsfall withought a bubble, it just makes it easier for you with weapons of light.
edit 3 : you can not always depend on defender, You can do any raid withought a titan bubble. Like I said THERE WAS 2 TITANS, why can't they just pick them?
edit 4, I will upgrade my defender.

edit 7, To all the people who Just tell me Im a noob or just level it up. I know where you are coming from and I understand. Yes I will level it up and I understand why you actually would call me a noob.
edit 8. Why are you all so Salty On me 😂 makes me laugh, Already said..I will level up defender. Probably some of you are the people who kick a person for not having a certain thing.

They should have kicked you, you need the defender tree.

How are people trying to do the raids without maxed out class? you are hurting the whole team. Any class that is wanting to do the raids, should have at least to certain point in their subclass. Hunter-black hole Warlock-self rez Titan-Illuminated

2 RepliesYou did not fill a roll they needed. You were not prepared for the job they were going to give you. If you want to be in a raid, you have to be able to contribute to the team otherwise they will find someone that can perform the tasks. Simple fix. Unlock defender.

Here let me waste my time on my 60th raid just becuSe this noob doesn't have defender on a Titan. Oh and let me just ignore the other 99% of the ther Titan that actually do. Makes sense bro. Be considerate for once in your life.

They clearly want to make the run as easy as possible and a titan really for the most part in the raid is only good with Defender, Sunbreaker is OK to use as it can help with some adds, striker is pointless to use in a raid.

Being a Striker Titan means you have to get close to your enemies to use it, risking your life which you probably would have done when it was charged because of temptation. You were probably replaced with a Nightstalker or a self resurrecting Warlock which does have use in the Raid, particularly Hard Mode.

5 RepliesJust level it up dude this games been out for over a year people should have subclasses leveled up by now. I did hard mode last night and guess what. I'm the only Titan bubble in the fire team the rest were self Rez warlocks and 1 tether Hunter. Just level it up!

My thing is defender is one of the best if not best subclasses for Titan: PvP or PvE. Not as applicable in rumble but can still be used effectively. It's not as flashy as HoS or FoH but in my opinion is the titan's bread and butter. As support of a class as a support class can be; you literally shield your teammates with your super. Combine that with helm of st. 14 and your team in the bubble is a fortress of solitude. Add a sword and the right build and you will poop orbs all through a strike.

Too many times I've been with a group and the titan pulls out his hammers or fist of panics something and says, "Oh crap, I didn't have defender on." The party leader was probably trying to avoid that or at least organize weapons/blessing, etc. Not even having it unlocked showed you're a new player with no commitment to your character or desire to be a helpful fire team member. No one wants that player. Go solo a nightfall or play some Rumble.

Defender Titan is the best PvE class. It indicates that you're probably not that good and a casual.

I can clear KF fast with just one Titan. They probably just sucked and needed all the help they could get.

Sounds like the team was full of people with little patience and little empathy. The reason you were kicked is because you wouldn't be able to throw down Blessing of Light, so DPS would be sub-optimal in some cases (when no BoL is available). Play the game the way you want, and play with people who aren't going to try to control how you play. Some people forget Destiny is a game and that's a damn shame.

I hate to say it, but they are right. Defender is almost essential for some of the fights if you wish to get down in a timely manner.

7 RepliesDon't bother raiding without at least blessing. No point in having a Titan without it when you could have a hunter with black hole or a warlock with self res. I waited until Blessing to raid.
