got Kicked for not having defender
I joined a group a few days ago for kingsfall. Right when we were launching, they said. If you are a titan and you dont have defender tell me. I said it because I never unlocked it. Right when we got to land I got kicked for not having defender...
Edit : I was not the only titan, There were two other people with defender so why did they need mine?
edit 2 : You can finish kingsfall withought a bubble, it just makes it easier for you with weapons of light.
edit 3 : you can not always depend on defender, You can do any raid withought a titan bubble. Like I said THERE WAS 2 TITANS, why can't they just pick them?
edit 4, I will upgrade my defender.

edit 7, To all the people who Just tell me Im a noob or just level it up. I know where you are coming from and I understand. Yes I will level it up and I understand why you actually would call me a noob.
edit 8. Why are you all so Salty On me 😂 makes me laugh, Already said..I will level up defender. Probably some of you are the people who kick a person for not having a certain thing.

Ok well they had 2 Titans and that's plenty. A sunbreaker with sunspots and melting point can be handy in some fights, but how don't you have defender up yet. I mean wow, like not even with blessing of light? Defender is like THE PvE Titan class to use, it's always handy. You really need to max it out

8 RepliesI'm glad you enjoy pvp as a Striker. That being said a Striker in any raid format is completely useless. I'm not trying to be a dick here, but it's absolutely true. Run your bounties and get your Defender up asap. If you are one of those people who is never going to want anything other than Striker unlocked then you will have to stick to pvp only content. Striker has n o business in the raid, and you will never get it done unless you find people who simply want to carry you through the raid for shits and giggles.

Defender is the best class and you should be maiming that for anything PvE. If you don't even have that unlocked, then it's assumed you don't know what you're doing.

Was this hard mode, I could understand if it was but if it was normal then that doesn't really make sense. just be glad you didn't have to spend 1-2 hours with those bellends and move on.

11 RepliesLol was doing oryx challenge last week. Same dude kept dying. Was using a warlock, but didnt have sunsinger unlocked. Kept blaming it on it being his 3rd charachter then said it was bc warlocks are the worst class. If you havent unlocked defender titan, shadowshot hunter, or sunsinger youre not ready for hard mode raid. Sinple as that.

7 RepliesTitans Defender bubble makes the raid easier to complete, weapons and blessings buff gives a HUGE advantage against bosses. Why would someone make it harder for themselfs and add a Titan without Defender? It was an obvious choice to kick you and search for someone else.

No offence intended. But if you haven't fully prepared your character for all eventualities the group will expect you to be ready for...then they will be disappointed. It's pretty simple. Make sure you can do you whole job as a Titan not just some of it. Kind of weird to think otherwise. "I built a car. I learned how to drive it. It's goes really fast. I don't need brakes"

Yeah that sounds about right. I mean, I've never kicked anyone for anything except in the most extreme cases, but I do happen to believe defender is a must for most raid groups. Especially an LFG group. Sorry that happened though, if I were you I would just start switching to defender whenever you turn in bounties etc so you can get it leveled up

1 ReplyAre we talking normal or hard mode? Because for Hard I can understand it. Its not just that you don't have the super that could be really helpful for the team, but for me its the fact you haven't even unlocked it. The raids are supposed to be end game content designed for the most dedicated Guardians. Not having even unlocked the subclass shows a lack of commitment to the game in my opinion. I've done a lot of raiding, and when I go into these random raid groups I make sure I have everything [b]we[/b] could need. It's a team activity and you should realise that Titans serve an important support role in all three raids' significant checkpoints. Get that subclass up, have fun with the Defender Titan and next time you join a raid, bring the tools required.

2 RepliesIf you're raiding on titan you need defender. If you're raiding on warlock you need self rez. If you're raiding on hunter you need tether. Kicking you was not cool but you need to unlock the pve endgame subclasses if you want to do pve endgame activities.
