got Kicked for not having defender
I joined a group a few days ago for kingsfall. Right when we were launching, they said. If you are a titan and you dont have defender tell me. I said it because I never unlocked it. Right when we got to land I got kicked for not having defender...
Edit : I was not the only titan, There were two other people with defender so why did they need mine?
edit 2 : You can finish kingsfall withought a bubble, it just makes it easier for you with weapons of light.
edit 3 : you can not always depend on defender, You can do any raid withought a titan bubble. Like I said THERE WAS 2 TITANS, why can't they just pick them?
edit 4, I will upgrade my defender.

edit 7, To all the people who Just tell me Im a noob or just level it up. I know where you are coming from and I understand. Yes I will level it up and I understand why you actually would call me a noob.
edit 8. Why are you all so Salty On me 😂 makes me laugh, Already said..I will level up defender. Probably some of you are the people who kick a person for not having a certain thing.

6 RepliesI got kicked from kne grouo and then ran relic as a striker in the next one to prove a point. People are getting ridiculous for their crutches.

Unfortunately there isn't much use for the other classes in the raid. I would've thought twice myself. It also conveys that you are really new to the game and may make mistakes throughout the fight anyways. Not saying what they did was right. Just that I understand. Although I would love to use Sunbreaker in the raid some time. Damn you Defender!

Then unlock defender, because other than the first part of the raid and the taken part of golgoroth, you need to be defender or you're rather useless.

If it was hard mode and you kept dying I would have booted you to, but would have given you and chance and let you know what the deal was when we started. The other subclasses don't do a thing for the team in PvE, especially in a raid

Hard yes you should have defender on. If it was for normal if you have sunbreaker you can run so many different options for it that you don't really need to be defender if there is another Titan.

They shouldn't have kicked you, but that is a subclass you should have upgraded first.

Because other subs are useless = your slot is useless Third bubble with gift of the void is very helpfull to generate orbs. With orbs required supers are up.

I don't use my Titan and I have all 3 subclasses maxed out. I hated my Titan in year one and even with all the buffs in the world I would still hate my Titan. That said, all 3 subclasses maxed out.

The raid can be completed with any class. It's just some classes abilities are tactically better than others. Titan Defender is a strong PVE class that is very useful in any raid or strike. Level up your Defender and you'll always be in demand.

If there are 2 other titans with bubble i would say its fine. And if i ran the fireteam i would insist that you run defender too. Just to start leveling it up. Get your bubble up Son, its the best super for your raid team (with thether).

Ha-ha wow. I've been into MANY random groups with my striker and that has never happened. I've literally gone through hard mode challenges with my mida, Garrison and sword and no complaints. Granted, I run the relics, do gaze, never die, and run the relic on oryx.

12 RepliesSo a week ago I joined a group on the forums that was looking for 2 for Oryx challenge, needed 1 Defender Titan. I was on my Warlock but they invited me anyway and shortly thereafter, got the Defender Titan we needed. However, when I joined the group I noticed they already had 2 other Titans. So I'm thinking "what do we need 3 Titans for?". Well upon further inspection the other 2 Titans were both running Strikers and didn't even have that subclass maxed out either. O_o So then I'm thinking, "do I really want to stay for this shitshow?". So I go about looking these guys up and notice they have double digit raid k/d's and I decide to stick it out. Obviously, we had a couple people join and bail out because they didn't think we were seriously trying to do the challenge. Eventually we get 6 and get going. Well come to find out Tether + Fist of Havoc = orbs for days. We wiped a couple times because we were getting synced up with each other but once we all got on the same page, completed the challenge with no incident. Might've taken 45 minutes at most including getting the group together and a couple wipes. Moral of the story: As long as you know what you're doing, there's always a way to contribute. Also, while some might scoff at the notion of PvE stats, your raid k/d says a lot about what kind of player you are. It may sound elitist but just think about that the next time you get kicked by someone with a 5.00 k/d.

I woulda done the same thing. They picked you for the bubble. If you don't have the bubble, you don't fill the role they chose you for. Makes perfect sense.

I'm confused how did u get to level 40 around 300 light without using the only good pve subclass. I'm assuming ur year 2 because every year one already knows defender is the only good subclass but I still just don't even understand this
