I got kicked from kne grouo and then ran relic as a striker in the next one to prove a point.
People are getting ridiculous for their crutches.

In the hard mode with no revives Defender is the way to go. It helps the team immensely.

A good group won't need it, trust me.

People get it in their heads that there is only one way (their way), to be successful with the encounters in the raid, when that's not the case.

Defender is the best raid subclass though ^_^

The Defender is great, but not absolutely necessary. At least with my experiences where we entered the raid with Warlocks and Hunters.
