Sadly, that's because most players have the same mentality as most of the others replying to me have.
How many times have you heard someone in your fire team announcing they are using Song of Flame? I'm willing to bet you can count that on one hand. Willing to bet you, as well as most others have heard "It's ok, I can self Rez." one too many times.

Edited by AcidRohnin: 2/3/2016 3:13:08 PMYep I hear I have self Rez all the time. Many that say that do use it like a crutch. There are some locks that don't use their super up until sisters lol. Those are the people who could be using radiant skin or void walker if they wanted to.
