I knew someone would try to point this out. And this is fair. The people making the game should get to set the requirements for their team. My point is that it is silly to make what subclass someone plays a requirement. Let them play what they want to play. Basically what I'm saying is the subclass should be a none issue in building a team. You can still beat the Raid just fine without this requirement.

Will do. Is the raid really that much harder without a defender because it didn't feel that way in the other raids

When i was still playing kingsfall 40x + warpriest is easier as splash-damage is a problem. Weapons of light and blessings at the same time are key for dps and tanking acolyte chip damage. same applies to golgoroth and oryx. you can pull out your striker for the daughters as there is a relic shield. Im sure however if you have not TOM then guardians will wag a finger at you.

A defender Titan helps much more in this raid than any other raid by far. Most teams are looking for 2 Titans and a hunter to make it much more manageable.

Well you get in there, on hard mode, and do the 16 orb oryx challenge with no bubble, then after your 10th wipe and everybody has left come on back here and tell us again how easy it is!!

It's mainly for touch of malice on ogres. No bubble = no blessing = dead by ToM

2 bubbles in the middle, with 2 ToM = to 16 dead ogres assap... Did oryx in all ways, But this method is my fav by far...

The bubble is to enhance the damage to bosses like warpriest, golgoroth, second sister, ogres at oryx, going into the shade and getting slammed as you enter. Without it the raid gets a lot tougher. Keeping teammates alive and full of orbs is not sucking ass. If you have hours upon hours to do the raid and wiping often then fine but most want to get in and get it done with as few wipes as possible.

Absolutely, and if the person who took the time to set up the group wants all blade dancer hunters it should be his/her choice. If you don't like that, try another group or better yet start your own.

Like I said to me these type of requirements of like subclasses and weapons should be none issues in picking a team. You shouldn't be barring people because they don't want to play a particular subclass. Nor should you insult people for not wanting to play the particular subclass you want which is another thing people are doing here. It's their choice when building the team but barring people based on subclasses because you think only one subclass is worth it just comes off as elitist to me. Let people join and have a good time. Not having a Defender isn't going to stop you from beating the Raid. Having a Striker isn't going to stop you from beating the Raid.

It doesn't matter what you or I think is right or "elitist", that's the beauty of the country I live in, it's about their [b]choice[/b] not our [b]opinion[/b]. The other beautiful thing about where I live is, as I said before, you can start your own group if you don't like it. The difference between us (you and I) is a fundamental difference in base beliefs.

Wow trying to play patriotic there. To me this would be the same as saying no women are allowed in your group. You can say and do such things but I think it is a silly way to think about things

While I think it's quite silly as well, I believe it's their right, just as I believe women can have a group with no men. And it would never even enter my mind to say "that's not right", because to me there's absolutely nothing wrong with it. That really is a great way to live. Think about it this way, how about a group for only Italian sport bikes, or how about one for only planes and no helicopters? Doesn't seen so silly then, does it? The same can be said about a group for only Jews, or only Black people or, dare I say, only White people, etc. Obviously, I have a big problem with people and ideals that include "let people play with you how [b]they[/b] want, not how you want". Imagine setting up a card game and stipulating the rules that you want to play by, then someone comes along and says I want to play my way. Fine, set up your own card game. Patriotic? No, maybe that came out wrong. Just referring my ideals, and the country I'm in shares and cherishes those ideals (for now), and that it's nothing strange, or even wrong. And we would fight tooth and nail against the imposition of beliefs that cater to "everyone gets coddled" or "everyone gets a trophy" ideals. Yeah that was a bit heavy, but I think you know what I'm getting at. You want it, you work for it, ie, start your own (raid) group with whatever stipulations or lack thereof you want, don't impose your own will on others. Sorry for the book I just wrote, I just have strong beliefs here.
