I made them but I screwed up. I usually make them with strips of red onion & bell peppers fried until they're caramelised. I never used to like red onions but they're one of my wife's favourites so I got used to them & use them whenever I make curry, Chinese stir fry & Mexican food. The one time I forget about the onions & they really weren't as nice as they usually are. I thought it was the smokey bbq seasoning that made the chicken & veg so sweet but most of the sweetness seems to come from the caramelised red onion. It made such a huge difference, they're normally mouth-wateringly gorgeous but for the first time they were just kinda "meh".
