So Bungie has completely abandoned PVE
So in the new update the trend was PVP, PVP, PVP, PVP..............pve raid fix.
For the love of batman can we get some sort of PVE event or update?! Some of us are sick of playing the same damn strikes over and over again.
If you want Destiny to be CoD in space, just push an update that erases all PVE content already, put us out of our misery.
Please Bungie, while I appreciate the positive changes to PVP, please get off your knees for the PVP community.

The thing is that it is much less time consuming to make PvP events. That's went it's all we see. In the time it takes to code a strike you could get 2 or 3 maps for PvP.

Right. The PvP in destiny is beyond dismal, no matter how many updates and maps. They need to hook it up with a little PvE content, yo.

3 RepliesI make this same response to everyone who posts about the lack of pve content rn. You need to understand that pve content takes ten times the amount of time it takes for pvp content. Think about it... the crucible is simple lines of code that can be tweaked and tuned. Even making new game types only requires a few weeks of re-coding. But pve content often times is totally new code that needs to be created fresh and integrated with the content that is already there. Pve content is on the way, our best bet is the big spring update they spoke of.

But people aren't just asking for raid fixes they are asking for complete revamps of old raids/completely new content/a new raid. That would be a lot of programming/costly.

PvP sucks in this game anyways. The only reason I ever -blam!-ing got this game was for it's god damn PvE content, yet Bungie is too god damn ignorant to even see the -blam!-ing DINOSAUR in the room that is the lack of PvE content. No one gives two -blam!-s about their god damn crucible. Give us a -blam!-ing update on the state of the PvE game for -blam!-s sake.

Who cares we beat the game. There's nothing else to do but wait for destiny 2 to come out. They obviously don't listen to us. I mean for a solid month they had wrong information on their weapon update up and people were talking about the new update percentages for a month. Not once did they see this then they would have known that the information was incorrect. Instead they saw it on the day of the update. That shows me they don't actually read these forums at all.

I'll never understand players who [i]just[/i] pve, I never get any thrills or excitement from A.I killing and the game's story is just weak. I honestly can't understand why that is so fun, maybe it is cause I am naturally attached to PvP since it's just more fun and compelling to me. I guess when I want to shoot an A.I to get more story content I just play an offline game. I do say though, it needs new equipment, new exotics, new vendor gears, hell even new passive perks on weapons/armors can change things up a notch, doing a new raid or updating old content that is just alternative of what we have already wont give me that [i]drive[/i] to try it. PvE related, I'm externally motivated (I need a reward to do it). I need a reason to do it, I expect new equipment for completing a task. Well in the end PVP is the actual endgame content, once you get all the necessary gears + light level, that's all there is to really do.

They plan to release a huge amount of PVE to bring the players back. That is why they don't care too much about making major PVE changes. Have they even fixed the glitches in VoG yet?

Do you want them to rush it and give you strikes backwards or do you want them to make new areas where you can explore and fight bosses?

There is not going to be any real pve dlc anymore other than live events for this game. this game is at the end of it slife cycle all major development is on the next game which wont be out until the end of this year or the beginning of the next when they can drop old gen support.

Meh. I'm probably done until they shuck out more PvE content. If I wanted PvP, I'd have bought some generic CoD title.

I honestly think Activision has cut Luke Smith's game budget because they spent it on hookers and weed, so nothing costly, like major expansions, are in development right now. Microtransactions could just be Bungie trying to somehow get enough resources to make a new expansion
