So in the new update the trend was PVP, PVP, PVP, PVP..............pve raid fix.
For the love of batman can we get some sort of PVE event or update?! Some of us are sick of playing the same damn strikes over and over again.
If you want Destiny to be CoD in space, just push an update that erases all PVE content already, put us out of our misery.
Please Bungie, while I appreciate the positive changes to PVP, please get off your knees for the PVP community.

Before christmas in an update URK said there is plenty coming in the weeks up to the start of the spring, so why not wait and see??? It's not spring yet, its the first week in february. This means that after the february update and Crimson event they will start giving info about the next thing, it even said at the bottom of yesterdays update that next week they have something else to share. If you think they are going to give you a detailed roadmap about the whole year you are dreaming. They won't ever promise anything, because that will completely -blam!- them over if any unforeseen issue arrives. It can only go wrong for them. Whatever is on the way, isn't ready to be shared yet. It will appear when its scheduled to be released. Just because that isn't now does not mean they have abandoned PvE, at all. I'm just as frustrated as you, I hate destiny PvP, I want PvE info, theres nothing much to do until we get something. I just play other games instead in the meantime, I don't see the point in getting stressed out about it. When new stuff arrives ill come back and play it. Ranting about it won't make any difference.

They just put out a "new" raid...
-
The next dlc / big update will probably be completely about pve
-
at the end of the day you have to realize that its not esay to come up with pve content as much and as fast as you guys want it
-
This is a good time to be a hybrid type of player. I can do both PvE and PvP on a pretty high level, so whatever thrives I can still have fun. I do agree though, PvE is entirely irrelevant, unless it's to help you get something that's good for PvP. Something needs to be done. The VoG days were the best.

It's not like PVP is getting huge events. It is just a doubles match with a small twist. The last major PVP upgrade was when they added Rift, Inferno mode, Zone Control, and the new maps and that was months ago. Meanwhile PVE got a raid, 3 more strikes, and a challenge mode for the Raid itself. Each section did also have a lot of quests that incorporated both to complete. Taken King was a huge update on both fronts. Biggest update afterwards was the SRL which was tons of awesomeness. Festival of the Lost and Crimson Days are simple events that just add a small tweak to the system. We should stop making it sound as if these new changes are huge.

Not surprised their focus is basically PvP centered, but disheartened every time there's lack of PvE mentioned. Only PvE mentioned was a Raid fix we've been demanding for months (Ogres). That's it. Still no work on the missing Exotics we paid for in the TTK DLC. The silence on this is deafening...

Listen, Your actions get results. You can't complain about them neglecting PVE, but still log in to play the same old stale PVE and expect them to take you seriously. Simply stop playing until they put something new in.
-
They haven't! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GoLz9b6CXC8
-
They killed PvE when they released ttk. They knew there would be nothing to do after it.
-
No you idiot. it's easier to fix pvp then pve. If they want more pve content, it would be released as a doc as it takes more time to create and write in all the coding and actually testing it
-
One. Issue. At. A. Time. PvP Events have been monthly since Day one and clearly PvP had major issue, and they added raid fixes. What more do you want w/o any planned expansion?
-
Agreed. Bump this.
-
Destiny is stepdad

Would be nice to get some pve action back. Something refreshing from trials or iron banner. Something like poe would be cool even. You can really tell Bungie has forgotten about pve and has been focusing on pvp since challenge mode (laughable lol). I play both pvp and pve and can tell how much I used to enjoy this game compared to now. It's nice to see people trying to make Bungie aware, I think they've been waiting for the community to say something. They're probably laughing it took us this long haha.
-
So dramatic haha.
-
What people don't understand is destiny is a grind game after you complete if there is just online multiplayer ,316+ on all characters? Play PVP
-
-
PVE is dead, they'll kill it and chances are there wont be any in Destiny 2, in fact the only way they might add PVE is if their ass kissing streamers ask for it, but they are too busy playing the same PVP games over and over, complaining that the same gun they all use is OP, and how the very power they keep using is broken.
-
I hope Destiny just becomes a full PVP game with just a little bit of PVE like a campaign.
-
If and when they release PvE content it better be worth the wait.... Till then I'm gonna play other games and may be play a few PvP games
-
Chill
-
-
Pve players don't matter.
-
I play both but even though there's a lack of pve content it's not really broken, pvp needs sorting first I think. Maybe making year 1 content relevant would keep us happy for a bit just an idea
-
PvP content is simply easier and cheaper to produce---and has more replayability----than PVE content. What I suspect is two things: 1. Bungie just didn't have the resources to keep up with the pace of 2 DLC and a major release per year. So I think they are scaling it back to I DLC and 1 major release. 2. Most of Bungie's efforts right now are going into a major retooling of Destiny "2", because they are probably planning on dropping support for last gen consoles. So that will give them a lot more computing power to work with to add feature to the game. Since it doesn' have to be "dumbed down" (nothing personal) to fit on what are basically obsolete computers.
