The twitching stopped, the corpse froze and shrunk into death. He did it. He had avenged his friends. Erik's hulking, grey mass stopped its stirring. Erik, one of Eldritch's and his friends old comrade, had been corrupted by the Clerics, and became a beast. Eldritch's breathing was labored, his blades bloodied, his helmet removed. He sighed, as his blades retracted into the sleeves of his trench coat. His knees buckled as he knelt next to his old friend, now a mindless beast. He put his gloved hand on Erik's chest. "Te videre in inferno." He muttered his teams slogan. See you in hell. They all knew they were going there, they weren't perfect. He got back up and looked at the ground, wondering what to do now. His teammates, Kroenen, Malekith, Minerva, Rosemary, and Guinevere, all slaughtered by Erik. Jon is lost in the Labyrinth of Nails, Fedrel was killed when he fell into the Abyss. And Radagast drowned in his own lack of sanity. Wait... Radagast! That's it! The Convergence could still be activated! His gaze turned to the large empty golden circle, the frame littered with gears. He had the key, he could unlock The Convergence. He reached into his pocket, and felt the key. He took it out and stared at it, it's rusted golden frame nearly breaking in his hands. He looked at the matching slot that the key goes in, and does so. The key shuddered and entered the slot with a creak. Gears started to whir and rust started to break. The empty space inside the large circle is replaced by a blue-purple vortex with flecks of white. He looked behind him, and saw his trademark helmet. He put it on, it's frame conforming to his head. He looked back at his friends, then to the portal. This was it. He would never see his world or friends again, and this new world he would enter. He knew it wasn't going to welcome him. He clenched his fists, and stepped into the portal. Meanwhile, the Alliance base was bustling with troops. In the center of it, a spark of energy emerged out of nowhere. Then followed by more and more, drawing everyone's eyes. It soon turned into a miniature thunderstorm. Soon, a flash of light blinded everyone witnessing the anomaly. When their eyesights returned, Eldritch stood there, up straight. He looked around, observing and taking everything in.
Intro for second character. Open.
