Doesn't CoD [i]have[/i] a story mode that pretty much everyone ignores?
EDIT: Not that CoD is all about story, but wouldn't taking the story out actually make Destiny [i]less[/i] like it?

Sad thing is there are people who actually do buy CoD each year for the campaign. But then that's about what I'd expect from Michael Bay fans.

Except you can't get anything for playing CoD PvE over and over again. This is a shoot and loot game. That's why the Borderlands series has been so popular in the past. You actually get stuff for playing the campaign over and over. It's the carrot on the stick. CoD doesn't have that, which is why most people don't play the campaign .

Hmmm,... odd. ive been playing their story mode since COD came out. you mean the small children with short attention spans? God id love to see you all try mike tysons punch out. You'd all quit before beating glass joe

Can you imagine kids now days trying to beat some of the hard games that came out years ago? They wouldnt. They play pvp because its fast and simple. Fitting the current mind set of the children today.

Exactly. I saw a video earlier today where they went to a major university and asked them questions about history and political figures. Not hard questions. Who won the civil war, whos the vice president. Who did this or that. Big things that should be known. They knew nothing. But you ask them about hollywood bs and gossip crap. They all knew it. The children of today are so damn stupid

True. but Destiny was marketed as PvE game more than a PvP game. Also at least COD has a story mode Destiny fails in that department miserably.
