That's one of the weirdest things ever. You are a primarily PvE player, (insanely low medal score) yet you don't have defender unlocked. You obviously took a huge break because you played the beta, but have such low Grimoire. If you played in the VoG and the CE days why would you not have Defender? Also, I would probably have kicked you too. The reason they wanted defender was because maybe the said it in the lfg, or they want to get it done fast. Fast is understandable.
