It does and I think all supers do now. The main problem with golden is that after activating you still need to aim and shoot whereas all other supers, fist of havoc, void bomb, shadowshot etc the super animation and damage come at the same time so you can get show down to little health and the opponent will die. If you do this with Golden gun you are still need to aim and fire and are often dead before you can do this if you activate it under fire. Fist of Havoc is the most annoying as even if you kill the titan it sometimes glitches and his dead body causes a fist of havoc pound and kills you. It looks funny though :)
