The ridiculous thing is that these idiots are sending out surveys asking people why they stopped playing, despite the fact that the forums and literally every gaming publication in the world has spent the last two months telling them why ... They marketed this game as an open world, co-op shooter with MMO aspects... A year and a half later, what they are exclusively pushing is the same old PVP that every other shooter that's come out for the last decade has... This isn't Halo... People didn't buy this game for PVP. They've abandoned what made this game different from the rest, and then wonder why people aren't playing anymore... If I wanted to play a game strictly for PVP, there are at least half a dozen better alternatives...

Exactly. I was looking for Destiny to replace both COD and Diablo in the same game. Raids man. That's where the love is at with Destiny. Raids and fun, challenging, and varied strike playlists. I certainly wasn't looking for a PVP replacement. As the op already stated, there are better places to go for that.
-
Agreed. What made me like playing this game so much in the first place were the RAIDS and STRIKES.

Edited by mja calg: 2/7/2016 11:55:11 PMTotally agree. Duringt he beta, I and other made a tonne of posts about Lag in PvP and it made PvP basically unplayable. This week they announce they might try and do "something" about it. Too little too late as almost all the AAA titles since 2012 are coming out with Dedicated Host Servers for PvP. Bungie simply can not leave us PvE players hanging like this. If your not going to be proactive and keep us in the loop on whats in the pipe - well we move on. And my Destiny friends and I are doing just that. One started playing GTA 5 last night, and I'm helping get them up high enough so we can start doing Heists.

I agree with everything you have sayed, if I was going to play a pvp only game this certainly wouldn't be anywhere near my ps4
-
They're sending out surveys? Haven't played for over 3 months. Maybe they still think I'm coming back.
-
Luckily I did buy it for pvp... Muahaha. Since raids are a pain and complete grinding
-
Im not sure how playing an activity for 30 to 90 minutes is much of a grind.
-
Meh more like I hate LFG and the idiotic groups there.

Edited by silverbullet962: 2/6/2016 2:33:50 PMThey r definitely geared more towards pvp. It seems that the pve side gets you ready for the endgame pvp side and i dont like pvp aloy so once ive burned up everything pve i get bored and move on for while. Edit alot*

I just went on an angry rant about this, but I like how you kept your composure. :) Carry on.

All they need to do is bring the rest of our year 1. Content foward , not hard Bungie Not to mention the remaining exotics

And those shaders from that damn cryptarch

Yes! Such a stupid thing to hold back.

I agree, although Destiny is pretty much Halo with magic which is why I bought it. Thing is though, Halo was good in both PVP and PVE. The campaigns were always fun with a fairly cohesive story, and the multiplayer was pretty well balanced with only a few issues. None of them were perfect and I don't expect a single game out there to be, but they were some damn good fun. :D I think one of the biggest problems with Destiny, is that a lot of players enjoyed most of the PVE but there was so little of it. We want more. Wanting more can be a good sign, but the sign has to be seen and reacted to, not ignored or overlooked. If Destiny's content was actually bad, I bet most of us would have just ignored it and moved on. But because a lot of it was fun we feel the want for more. Had it been released with what they marketed for concepts, I think the want for more would not have been nearly as large an issue if at all. ---------------------- If any Bungie members read this, please take heed of our lust for more xenocide. You gave us the first dose of space magic, and now we want more. More! MORE! MOAR! MOAR SPACE MAGIC!!! SP-SP, SPaCE MAAAAaaaAAGgGIIIiCC!!! AHAGAHAHAGAHAAGHHHHAAAA!!!! O_o

Bump. Wtf Bungie

Well said without being a jerk like me... Although I enjoy the PVP elements of Destiny...the reason I bought it was because it was advertised as an open world mmorpgfpsrts puzzle sim
