Here's what's going to happen. These forums are littered with make old content relevant again, bump up the old raids to new light levels, on and on and on....
But you know what? That is more than likely what's going to happen. What will happen? These forums are going to blow up like a nuke bomb with disgust because of this.
I personally don't want year 1 stuff brought up to year 2 levels. If you want your challenge back, go equip your old gear and give it a go.
I want NEW STUFF. I am well aware that NEW stuff takes a long time to create. I'm ok with that! But the real issue at hand, and it's been this way with Bungie for awhile now, is the lack of communication. I don't care what anyone says, if you play PvP there was no communication until it was figured out they switched to SBMM. PvP was so unbalanced in year 1 they barely addressed the issue. Thorn, Vex, Suros anyone? PvE is now in that boat. Y1 we knew stuff was coming, official or unofficial. You just knew it was coming. Didn't matter when, but you knew it was on it's way.
Today? Here buy these emotes, here buy these SRL Record books, Buy this buy that....This is the new method of a seasons pass in Y2. This game is dying, and not by any other franchise, but by the developers themselves. It's sad to see the state of this game today. These forums have grown so toxic, who recalls the days here where every post was something helpful, mysteries of the Vault, lore posts etc. Those were some good times here. Now it's nerf nerf nerf, OP OP OP, I WANT I WANT I WANT, BRING BACK BRING BACK BRING BACK.
I guess what I'm saying here is, prepare to be disappointed with whatever comes next. Lighting in the bottle has escaped this franchise and I doubt it will ever be recaptured.

I'm on break from this game and only check these forums to see the rants. But I can honestly say if year one stuff starts coming back and being passed off as new content I'll be done. I trashed so much great year one stuff to move on and trusted Bungie would provide the quality year two items. Leave year one in the past.

Forums have been a festering boil since day one. People have been sour over dashed expectations for this game and have been calling for nerfs since then, too. I too wish bungie would just let us know what the f is coming down the pike and when to expect it. However, they've meet purported to be transparent when it comes to what's in store. The good part about that is that one doesn't have to play Destiny if they don't want to. The division doesn't look that great from what I've seen but until I play it I'll reserve judgement. If it scratches the co-op itch many guardians have then bungie will suffer. Seems like blops3 already took away a whole lot of pvpers...

To each's own when it comes to different games. No single game will kill another. That's why I stayed away from that topic. I don't enjoy Destiny's PvP as much as I enjoy R6 Siege. So I ply my PvP trade over there. And I must agree about the forums. Every game's forums are pretty salty. However, there was that time where these forums weren't as littered with the whiny posts and filled with people willing to help, lore posts, Vault mysteries, etc etc. I miss those days of being captured into it all. Oh what could of been I suppose.

sadly but its so true ;) have over 2000hrs. and played since beta, but didnt have the urge to play since 3-4 months
