Dear Bungie
You've been asking people why they stopped playing Destiny and I thought I'd tell you exactly why I stopped.
I stopped for the same reason that many folks did, I hit a wall, etc. I wanted a little break, play other games.
I also became increasingly frustrated that I couldn't fully enjoy the all the content I paid so much for. I never fully ran through Crota's End, and I never, not once got to to try The Taken King raid. Relying on outside sites to try and find groups to do things with is "eh" at best and Bungie.net just doesn't work very well for me. I was spending more and more time waiting on those sites than actually playing. There has to be a better way.
But you know those things.
This is something you might not know. I might not pick the game back up, ever. Here's why.
I was a proud season pass holder and was fine with the content/experience for the price, but I would've never, ever, EVER bought The Taken King for my 360 if I had known I couldn't move it over to my xboxone having originally bought Destiny on a disc.
You did an awful job explaining this to folks.
I think there was a period where you were helping people with this? I still don't quite understand it. But you blew it. Having to pay another $65 (or is it more?) to play a game I've already been playing for over a year is ridiculous.
I'm not here to call names, use bad language, and shout at you over the internet. I'm just incredibly disappointed. I ordered a game for my xbox one, it's in the mail. While that was coming, I wanted my first xbox one experience to be Destiny. I wanted to catch up with all my friends who moved over a long time ago. I wanted to rock it on my awesome new 55" 4k tv. And I can't. Or I won't? I'm not sure. It's depressing.

Hi Bribu I thank you for sharing your story with the community and bungie. However, would you mind moving this over to #feedback? That would be a better fit for your post. #help is for technical issues Also a moment to clarify if I may. The digital upgrade program (which was what allowed people to transfer content from last gen to current gen) was always marketed as year one material only. It expressly listed the original destiny (if purchased digitially before Jan 15 2015) expansion 1 and expansion 2 would be eligible for upgrade to next gen. https://www.destinythegame.com/digital-upgrade The taken king was the start of year 2 and was the cut off for the promotion. Whether it was digital or physical made no difference. If you have a destiny disc for your new platform you can pick up the taken king for 40 and you will be ready to go. https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12122

Your not the only one mate, I'm thinking the same as well, I love destiny I like playing, but when I get my xb1 next week I don't think I be buying destiny as it dead, And bungie won't listen to us we are the community the people that play this all the time even tho we get angry we will always play it, But just recently the way bungie going everyone giving up on destiny not cause of the game but because of bungie as they are making the community get angry and just leave,, I will play destiny on my 360 maybe if I come back, But if I see bungie listen to the community I night change my mind
