Anybody noticing a pattern? With every dlc comes more problems and things TAKEN away from us. Im not surprised they are doing these events instead of dlc because guess what, they are trying to squeeze as much as they can out of the players base through micro transactions, as they can before this game spirals downward into nothing. They promote these events like they are some sick update to the game that everybody is going to love. When in fact its just one pvp playlist event. Theres only so much people can take. Just dont buy m- transactions then they will realise their scheme isnt working.

They are doing those mini events because they have nothing else to add to the game. Everything went fine while they had all that cut content from the original game to sell to us as DLC's, but now that content is over and they have nothing more to give to players. My belief is that they're not going to add anything substantial to the PvE of Destiny until the release of Destiny 2 in 2017. My best bet is that they'll recycle some old stuff already in the game and throw it at us as something "awesome" and "original". Bungie made way too many mistakes managing Destiny, the excessive focus and resources spent with PvP was the worst one (still is), and now it's just too late to make it right. Destiny PvE is decaying to a full stop and I'm not seeing Bungie worried with that. That's why when Destiny 2 comes out maybe it's better to wait some time to see where it goes.

  • You're right, I don't see any real, substantial pve stuff coming out. It's gonna be just constant shit like festival of the lost. And while sparrow racing was something people wanted when Destiny first came out, there's s time and place. It would've been a great addition to a DLC "hey guys, we here more of complaints about lack of content, so here's the SRL in addition to the DB. It's always on, doesn't cost silver to play or to get ahead. Enjoy!" But no, the release it when there are much bigger issues going on but they're being ignored.

  • As for squeezing all the money out of us that they can, and the changing of the microtransactions to items they said they would not release.... I blame Activision and Bobby Kotik, CEO Activision. The anti-christ of gaming. A publisher has a lot more control over the game then most people really realize.
