Stop -blam!-ing Smoking
It pisses me off how every time I do a raid there is that one douche who says, "I gotta smoke" or "Gimme a minute hit the bong" and everyone ends up waiting ten -blam!-ing minutes. Can you not wait 30 to smoke or do whatever the shit you are doing? I can get married and raise a family in the time it takes you to smoke. I just want to get the raid done, not sit around making awkward smalltalk with these people who are going to quit if you don't -blam!-ing come back after a reasonable amount of time. so please for the love of god, wait or actually take as long as you said you would.
In fact any break that takes longer than 5 minutes pisses me off. What are you doing? There is no fun in waiting I can tell you that.

Mention that when looking for a group so you don't get paired with smokers. Posting it here bitching about smokers will have little to no affect.

The stoners who I end up playing with from LFG don't take more then a minute to take a hit. I don't know why it would take 10 minutes though.

Forget the raid, I see people that are 290 light+ struggling to get through a heroic strike (not nightfall, heroic!). Be considerate of other people's time. People 300+ should not be wiping on a heroic strike. I saw this way too much this weekend. Just looking to grind out some exotics and it shouldn't take 30 minutes+ for us to carry someone who should not be playing.

well, if people would quit wiping for stupid reasons then the raid would be quick. They wouldn't have to take a break.

1 ReplyI learned early on in this game to be good at jumping puzzles so I can take a smoke break. Hell with all the failing at the jumping I could go to the store, buy a pack, smoke one and come back to some guy being flinged away by a wall dildo somewhere at the start.

This obviously doesn't work when none of these dumbass's can smoke inside cos they live in their mum's basement

People can do what they want, although I find the people that frequently go on about vaping -blam!-ing pathetic. Only people I will (and have) booted from raids are people that are so baked they have no clue whats going on. I had a raid going the second week after Kings Fall was released and we needed a 6th guy at Oryx. We invite this guy in and he's so stoned, when we ask him if he knows what he's doing he replies with, "yeah, but I haven't done this raid in so long so I've forgotten". KICKED.

To each his own. I think anything that isn't fresh/regular air that you breath into your lungs is bad for you. Plus, do people without painful diseases really need to smoke weed to feel happy? There are so many other healthier options one can do to feel "high".

Sounds like you need to rip the bong yourself. It's just a game. I like to smoke and play games that's my thing. If this game has you stressed because you can't beat a oryx challenge cause your waiting on someone to smoke then you might want to return when you have learned some patience.

It depends dude, my normal group dont care as it takes me only a few short minutes to smoke so they dont care. With randoms I tend not to but if we have wiped at the Warpriest like 5 times as they arent that good or organised they I need to smoke to stay chill, better than just leaving on them. Its no different than you having to go sort your kids out with whatever sh1t they might want.
