Stop -blam!-ing Smoking
It pisses me off how every time I do a raid there is that one douche who says, "I gotta smoke" or "Gimme a minute hit the bong" and everyone ends up waiting ten -blam!-ing minutes. Can you not wait 30 to smoke or do whatever the shit you are doing? I can get married and raise a family in the time it takes you to smoke. I just want to get the raid done, not sit around making awkward smalltalk with these people who are going to quit if you don't -blam!-ing come back after a reasonable amount of time. so please for the love of god, wait or actually take as long as you said you would.
In fact any break that takes longer than 5 minutes pisses me off. What are you doing? There is no fun in waiting I can tell you that.

3 RepliesWhen I'm the fireteam leader and we're doing a raid or multiple Iron Banner matches I always try to have breaks for the team. Some may need to go to the bathroom, get a drink, walk a dog, take a smoke, whatever..... I think of it as just common courtesy. I normally only need to hit the john and grab a drink, and am usually back on before the last person. I don't mind waiting and it's a good time to just sit there and decompress for a few minutes or think about our strategy.

I actually thought this was going to be a rant about Hunters and how Bungie should nerf Smoke Bombs! Lol To your topic though, sure smoking is bad for you and it isn't cool...but it's not my business and I'm not going to tell someone else what to do or how to do it.

I don't give two -blam!-s about you getting high. I give a -blam!- if your wasting my time doing it. Get high before or after a raid. Especially if your already doing god awful because you so baked. And people who get so defensive about it are the worst. You're getting high. You're not doing something urgent or beneficial to anyone but yourself. Don't treat it like its some sacred ritual that you absolutely must do or else you'd die. That being said I don't stand for or against drug use. People do what they need to do, but the moment it gets in my way of completing something or enjoying myself is when I get irritated by it.

Leave, and find a group of non-smokers, because they don't stop to make coffee, go get drinks, quickly grab something to eat.............

Also it's their game, they can enjoy it how they please- just like yourself. If it's that big of deal then boot them and move on. Just friend the other close minded douchebags that have replied favorably and you can have your own fire team complete with special rules that everyone needs to follow. BAM! Problem solved.
