Hello all,
So, yesterday i finally got a chance to run destiny... and got info about 17GB update.
it downloaded to 74%, then xbox popup told me that "Instalation has stopped", so i've restarted destiny.
It immidiately say again "Instalation has stopped", then spew out error "Something bad happened", and after a while, some message from Bungie devs that i can restart my console etc etd (dont remember exact text, but there was no error code or anything), so i did...
And my console turn on the white X light, hdd is spinning, but no image is rendered on the screen.
Before you ask - yes, i've checket if the console is plugged, if the screen is plugged, if i have eyes and if the power is on.
Anyone with same problem?

I'm getting " Oops, something bad happened. Please wait a moment... / " But after that it proceeds to the Fallen King screen, and when I press 'A', it tries to download updates (which fail). I am guessing the servers pushing out the updates are melting down (why did Bungie not bring in a CDN for this?), and they failed to correctly assess the server capacity necessary, and my poor senile 360 is getting confused when the server it's trying to download from stops talking to it. So maybe it will settle down and work when load falls to non-stupid levels. Still, it's not like Bungie doesn't know how big the update was, and how many active customers they have. Calculating the necessary bandwidth is arithmetic. Failure to do it properly... sheesh...
