I mean (and im not defending it here) there is no real subsequent health problems connected to it. Still stupid but quite honestly it is better than smoking for you. And it has medical purposes. Cigarettes do nothing for you but -blam!- you in the ass

Edited by Kyle: 2/8/2016 1:56:53 PM- no subsequent health problems after age 21. In developing youth (mostly when someone hits puberty, throughout the age of about 21) THC from weed can affect chemicals in the brain during that time and can lead to longer-term effects in mental emotion, memory, and the (autonomic) nervous system. Imaging studies in human adolescents show that regular marijuana users display worse neural connectivity in specific brain regions involved in a broad range of executive functions like memory, learning, and impulse control compared to non-users. In a study, those who used marijuana heavily as teenagers and quit using as adults did not recover the lost IQ points. Users who only began using marijuana heavily in adulthood did not lose IQ points. Saying that there is no real subsequent health problems connected to it is just a vague way of trying to make a defense for smoking it. But the thing is, most marijuana users start smoking in youth, rather than start after their brain has fully developed. All it takes is a little research and you can find this out. Finally someone smart on the internet!

No link? So basically you read some random study that was probably not funded to be actual medical research, but funded by antimarijuana legislation advocates? About right.

Well, whenever you smoke pot (except for medical purpose) you are pretty much making you under the influence, and high. With alcohol, oyu may not get drunk.

Are you high now? Whenever you smoke a drug like that, you ARE getting high. At least with Alcohol a-l-c-o-h-o-l you may not get drunk, or even buzzed, you might just drink one beer, and be done.
