I'm looking for great exotic ideas from the community.         No Regrets Exotic Sniper Rifle. "When we were driven upon, I took every last one." Solar Damage, low RoF, High Impact. 3 Round Mag. Base ammo capacity: 18. Exotic Perk: Double kills return one round to the magazine. 1st tree: ballistic stuff. Firefly. 2nd tree: increased range, reduced stability, snapshot, QuickDraw. Last perk: explosive rounds. Smoke emits from holes In extended barrel. Looks like a Hakke sniper. Black with an orange, yellow, and red flames paint job

        The Astronomers Wrath A rocket launcher that fires upward and hits the target from above. "Mocking someone for staring into the sky can have its repercussions." Appears as a standard rocket launcher with over sized bi-pods and a swivel to aim it up, or it just simply looks like a mortar. Exotic Perk: Meteor Spotter: Lock down and prepare to fire rockets straight up, get an over-view of the current map and select the target area where you want the rockets to land. Second perk: Tri-pod Solar burn Default 1 rocket in the barrel without the perks. Rate of fire - 5 Blast Radius - 100 Velocity - 30 Stability - 90 Reload - 60 Edit: Basically a new weapon type, a mortar.

[/i] Exotic Perk: This armor grants Maximum Agility. Ammo column has Well Packed: Your primary and Secondary ammo have been increased and a chance to get 25% more from each ammo pickup (I added this because increased Agility is not as noticeable as it should be.) Looks: Very worn out yet strong look. Similar to hog wild minus the feathers. Without a shader it is a dark brown.

      • Pulse rifle- prototype 004-high rof low impact damage profile [i]initiate order 04362.[/i] Exotic perk-battle sequence delta- on precision kill this weapon will produce bullets infused with arc, solar and void damage, but will decrease rate of fire and stability (lasts 15 seconds) Fusion rifle- the jester- high damage low charge rate [i]they'll never see it coming.[/i] Exotic perk- the jester's illusion- kills with this gun have a chance to drop orbs of light, which when picked up/ stepped on will explode (tripmine damage)(in pvp it randomly selects an enemy on the opposing teams name and will say they dropped the orb and will only show up on the enemy teams screen) Hunter gauntlets- gloves of the precisionist [i]precision is the key to sucess.[/i] Exotic perk- way of the blade- increases precision damage with throwing knives (enough to 1 hit a guardian) but increases melee cooldown and removes all melee charges currently held (to avoid abuse with the double throwing knife perk and the gain another throwing knife perk on precision kill perk) Tell me what you think guys and gals :)

When the rip is healed you are returned to the point you activated it from. Consumes Full melee energy on use. The treads are black trimmed with a glowing aura that changes color depending on your warlocks subclass (Orange for Sunsinger, light blue for Stormcaller, etc) The perk works where you "go back in time" to when the exotic was activated, just to clear things up

        • OK here's a few of my good ones: The Horned God "All must pay tribute!" Appearance similar to stag/RAM except with horns more similar to a bull not a ram/stag Exotic perk. Radiance deals lethal solar damage in an area around the user. The Phoenix "Risen from the ashes you shall rise...." Exotix perk 1 Song of flame allows you and team mates to deal more damage to enemies burning by your grenades.(damage buff for grenade burn similar to wol or tether) Exotic perk 2 grants perk node Song of Flame Exotic pulse rifle. Violet Dawrf "... Like I dying sun." High impact low RoF Exotic perk : void projectiles have the chance to create void implosions that suppress enemies( think explosive rounds that trigger the suppressing effect) [spoiler]in PvE its like 65% of your clip will suppress ads, but in crucible I imagine it's like 1 or maybe 2 bursts randomly in a clip will suppress this will keep it from being unstoppable[/spoiler] Exotic scout rifle Predator & Prey "Those who have it, know this truth." VoC Hung Jury archetype Exotic perk 1 grants enhanced tracker and the ability to mark enemies you damage sneak faster (almost exactly like the Nightstalker perk keen scout) Exotic perk 2 third eye Visually this gun looks like a blacked camo rifle with a silencer, and its sound when fired is so quiet its almost silent. Exotic perk 2 I've made more but those 4 are my favorites :D

Exotic Perk- Freefall Expertise: On your way down from jumping, hold the jump button to glide down without fall damage. Appearance: These boots look like the Heliopause Boots but in a white and grey. There is visible electricity storming throughout the boots. Branching perks: 1- Way of the wind: While gliding, you gain a significant amount of control to where you will land. 2- Sparrow Speed: Glide faster, and while aiming your weapon, you will freeze in the air for seven seconds. [b] [/b] [b] [/b] [b] [/b] I also have an exotic helm idea for hunters. [b] [/b] [b] [/b] [b] [/b] Exotic Hunter Helm: Name: Got Your Back Description: Don't worry, I'll be right behind ya! Exotic Perk- Into The Shadows: Once you are inflicted with damage, you will briefly become invisible and have a shadestep like perk for ten seconds. Appearance: It will look like the Iron Companion Helm with smoke coming out of the visor slit. It will be colored red, white, and a smoky grey. Branching perks: 1- Smoke Spray: Once the perk activates, smoke will be strewn around you for three seconds. 2- All Out: The shadestep like perk will now boost you farther away and allow you to shadestep upwards.

            • Old glory Exotic primary side arm Apperance Colt 1911 nickle plated High impact then your average sidearm. Same fireing speed but half the average magazine. Always used as a last resort. You will find more heavy ammo and special ammo. Perk two. More room. Do to less space being taken you can carrey more special and heavy ammo.

            • Losing control Warlock guantlets One arm has a normal looking shoulder guard and gauntlet while the other arm looks like a combo of twisted metal and a long sholder blade. Increase nova bombs yeild by 25- 30% at the drawback of losing your shield. Secoundary perk (bloodlust) similar to reddeath. Kills trigger healing.

                The True Star - Sidearm "No one's light but our Sun's." Looks like a Ruger made of frosted glass with a glowing orange light emanating from it. Same stats as the Havoc Pigeon except with 15 in the mag. Perk One/ The Flare : Equipped as a primary. Holding the trigger down releases full auto fire with a 1/3 second charge time with half impact that ejects targets high into the air in five hits (like when a blade dancer glitches out and sends you flying, if your crucible enemies forget to double jump as they fall it's a one burst kill). If the target is something large or larger than an ogre the damage deduction and ejection of enemies is taken off. Perk 2/ Allegiance to Our Star: Shooting teammates with the gun (3 shots) adds a slow healing over time effect (25% in 2 seconds) that is constant and immediate. Cannot be stacked.

Now, she has disconnected with the City, but her flames still burn our enemies, one by one."-Commander Zavala First Perk: Increase Intellect/Discipline Second Perk: Heavy/Special Ammo Increase Exotic Perk: Simmering Flames: Hammers create a chain of fire on hit. They will burn the person hit with the hammer and the one hit with the chain, both burning others when near them. Effect can stack up to 3 times.

                    I won't be able to post in that example format, since this is just a long rough and general idea for a unique kind of sidearm. I'll leave it up to others with a better handle on Sidearms to come up with reasonable Exotic stats based on the general parameters. This would be a pair of Exotics. Named "Sinistra" and "Dextra". 2 halves of a whole. Rough idea follows. Unique to each sidearm is the ability to equip its other half if a player has both in their inventory. The basic means is similar to Infusion, but instead of costing anything, it simply trades both weapons for a "new" Exotic. They, in effect, become a single dual-pistol exotic with its own set of stats and perks. To split them back up is also straightforward; just select the option to separate the pair and the system trades the dual-wield option back to 2 separate sidearms. If you do not have enough space for both sidearms, you cannot separate them. Alone, Dextra heals the wielder based on a portion of damage done to a target (high enough to make it Exotic worthy), and has a chance to speed up grenade and melee recharge on kills. High accuracy, high target assist, average sidearm damage, low recoil, and low impact. Its potency is offset by the low damage and limited range of sidearms, but permits it to be a reliable backup for defensive players (continuously healing and recharging your grenades and melee as you deal damage while retreating, for example). Dextra can switch between Solar and Arc damage, without any stat changes or cost. Default is Arc. Alone, Sinistra deals critical damage regardless of whether you shot the enemy's foot or the enemy's head, and its rounds do ricochet, and each does 1.5x more damage than a normal ricocheted round. Low accuracy, low target assist, average sidearm damage, high recoil, and high impact. Its potency is offset by the low damage and limited range of sidearms, but permits it to be a reliable backup for more aggressive players (those charging in to effective sidearm range to make the most use of the guaranteed critical damage while preserving their primary or heavy ammo). Sinistra can switch between Void and Solar damage without any stat changes or cost. Default is Void. Together, Sinistra and Dextra retain their first perk, but lose the second. Shots from Sinistra deal critical damage. Shots from Dextra grant health proportional to the damage done to the target. They gain a new perk, which grants Gunkata; a combination of a fancy directional evasion move and a speed reload in one, usable every 5 seconds to make up for the fact that grenades and normal melee will be unusable while using the dual-wielded form. Gunkata also permits gunning while running, but at the loss of accuracy and aim assist until you quit running. Sinistra and Dextra can swap between any of the elemental damage types without any stat changes or cost. A single trigger pull for the paired Sinistra and Dextra is 1 shot. Every even round is fired from Dextra. Every odd round is fired from Sinistra. Reloading resets the firing order, starting with Sinistra. Ammo capacity is double (equal to the amount each pistol has separately). Alternating high/low recoil, and low/high impact with each shot. Aiming assist is normalized between the two. Reload speed and accuracy are lower than either pistol if they were separate. The ability to switch element types is another small extra to entice use of the sidearms, and does not affect anything outside of making a tempting alternative in harder Strikes or Missions where shielded enemies are more common. Extra Notes: [spoiler]The names are a reference to which hand holds which gun when in dual-wield form and a bit on the names themselves. Right (Dextra) and Left (Sinistra). Sinistra was associated with causing suffering, being a trickster/deceitful, maliciousness, and being considered evil. Dextra was associated with skill, being righteous, just, and noble, and following law and order. I did want to give Sinistra a non-Element DoT similar to Thorn, but that would have probably been too OP with it's guaranteed criticals despite being a sidearm rather than a hand cannon. So higher damage on ricochet shots to allow some sort of trick shooting and still keeping the theme was the next option.[/spoiler]
