I will be more specific, last year I bought digital version (dv) of expansions 1 and 2, all from PSN and disc version of destiny, all for PS3 and in last December i purchased dv of TTK from PSN for PS3. I recently bought PS4, i installed a trial and downloaded around 40 GB of game and played it for 10 hours. all was working amazingly excluding matchmaking that was locked due to trial . To unlock matchmaking, game provided option to purchase PlayStation plus trail , so i installed 14 days free trial PlayStation plus , but after that I was unable to access any type of game play. All icons are locked , game is asking me to purchase dv of TTK , now for PS4 . Do I need to purchase it or it's possible to upgrade it from PS3 without paying extra cash ?
