Yes I am speaking in general terms and smokers is a loose definition. So what? Its extremely hard to make specific catagories, classifications, and statistical numbers in a debate being done while sitting on the toilet (in a manor of speaking) I assume you know the general idea of what I am talking about and thats all that matters in an internet debate. Perfect statistical data does not matter as long as you are in the same ballpark. Majority, most, 95% , many, more than 50%, 68.297% all conveys the same idea and there is no problem speaking like that as long as it is basicly true. If you think the idea is wrong say so and present your own idea instead of just saying "you pulled it out of your bunghole". Do you have a reason to think there is anybody out there actually doing pot for their health? I dont. Sure there are some but not a large enough number to make a difference in any discussion on the topic. (You see right there how I spoke? Saying "I dont think anybody smokes for health reasons" is the same thing as saying "very few people actually smoke for health reasons")
