This can't be done. They released a version that people to this day want back. That version was unfair and flawed but now everything else done to it seems small. Fact is people are still good with this class and some never will be. You should decide which you are and move that way. I literally play with a guy that threw a hammer from the mid point between B and A (Control) and one hit a dude at the flag. He loves the class and maybe that's why he plays it, maybe he has a good strategy or build I don't know. I hope you find a subclass you enjoy as well because the old breaker back isn't going to happen.

  • I dont want old Sunbreaker back, I want a reliable subclass, like the Striker

  • I had all three classes at 40 and most subclasses to full at one time. That said I admit my personal experience with sunbreaker is limited to the old one. Seems to me through my limited play and playing with people that like it that's supposed to be different. It isn't a 1 button super or a one dimensional character. The depth is supposed to be the flexibility and fun of it. So unless your going to take that away from the breaker anything else is adding too much. I'm probably wrong and am actually thinking of dusting mine off to see what the deal is. It's just such a drastic gap between the boards and the actual game. The ones I see seem very capable of playing. The posts on the board make it seem broke beyond repair.

  • It took some serious getting used to. If you are adaptable, you can still make it work just fine. I still use the same build I was using pre-nerf, just without flameseeker. I believe flameseeker is the cause of the wonky hammer damage. After much use in both PvP and PvE, I am confident this is indeed the case as I consistently take out enemy players with a single well placed hammer. You have to have controlled aggression, and you cannot just hurl your hammers blindly. You need to make them count. Enemies will take to the air in an effort to survive, but I can reliably take them out with careful hammer placement.

  • Yeah when I use my special I go heavy on grenades (Solar). I know I can't hit them in the air I don't even try. I see them jump I rush and throw at the ground they will lay at. Really with solar I am at the ground a lot because the area damage is so much heavier than the direct hit. My focus is more on delivering that than anything else.
