A direct hit does indeed allot of damage but the problem is hitting people directly since it's hard when people just jump to counter a super

Part of that is the proximity problem. The other part is that the hammers are not meant to be a spam super, which everyone who used did because you could. It took a while to get used to, but aiming can be easy
