I'm 12 (about to be 13 don't h8 m8 apreci8).
My parents really don't care about it that much. If it is a game that is like super sexual or contains nudity then it is a no go. Same goes for super Gory stuff (like the new doom game)
Honestly I think it shouldn't be as much about age but more about maturity and the mental state of the individual. And I don't mean to encourage 9 year olds should be screaming into the Mics while playing GTA that's not what I mean by the age shouldn't really matter. I mean like if a 12 year old (like myself) wants to play a game that is rated T or M I shouldn't be restricted from playing because I am 12 it should be up to the parents to decide whether or not the individual is mentally prepared to be exposed to that content.
Edit: and yes I do realize that this is under #satire but I still wanted to state my opinion.

problem, parents don't care. they say go play this game because its new even though its rated M which mean 17+. 9-11 year olds should not be playing CoD and Halo

Coming from a 14 year old, word of advice, don't state your opinion and start with that period bullshit when people state theirs. Just suck it up and accept it, people don't agree. You reply with a bunch of dots and you look like a dumbass. If you [i]actually[/i] want to discuss, then start a discussion, that's it.
