Do you guys see this as cheating? You can buy the Cronus at GameStop now (Picked one up for myself today) so it's not like you have to buy it online somewhere anymore. Anyways, what do you guys think about it?
If you say it's cheating, please give the reason why.
Makes it that much sweeter whenever I kill those guys with my default sensitivity
-
Cheating. Mouse and keyboard is way more accurate
-
Im curious bc idk the answer, do organized tournaments for halo and other fps allow keyboard and mouse?
-
Not cheating, but only a fag would play that way on a console.
-
Not cheating, just cheap.. KD kids who think it will get them a good job In real life.
-
I think they should have banned the guy who used rock band equipment on Crota. Not as intended...
-
I consider cheating anything that requires third-party components
-
Are keyboard and mouse allowed for call of duty tournaments?
-
Maybe not cheating but It's an advantage for sure.
-
I think it's completely cheating. Aim assist is on consoles to keep up with PC's because your shots aren't as accurate on console. With a mouse you have complete control over your shot.

Edited by ultradream: 2/12/2016 9:11:23 PMIs it better?

Not necessarily cheating but it is getting an advantage. This is why shadowrun somewhat was ruined. For of those who don't know it was a cross platform between 360 and pc (not sure if Playstation was in it, could be wrong) but anyway pc players were way more accurate than console gamers. Way more pinpoint and easier to control.

Not cheating but super lame
-
No. I use a pilot simulator joy stick.
-
K+M is not cheating, but it does give a significant advantage Same argument for Scuf controllers, Gaming Headsets, Gaming Monitors etc... ... The only devices I'd consider cheating are modded controllers (rapid fire type) and routers like Netduma which manipulate matchmaking. Although I would personally consider buying a netduma router, because connection should always be favored in online gaming, skillbased should only be relevant in Ranked Playlists.

Seems fine to me. Destiny has a maximum sensitivity of 10 and I don't think that can be overridden. To be honest I always struggled a bit with a keyboard so I think it's a bit of a skill in itself.
-
Yup. Using any other device than what is intended for said console is cheating.
-
I think it's a little bit of an advantage but honestly who cares
-
I think it's fine

Edited by Dinkus McGee: 2/12/2016 3:03:09 PMKeyboard and mouse are hands down the best way to play fps games. Now, how does it work for a game like this which offers aim assistance? That is not something that is necessary with mouse and PC games. Anyone try it? It took me years to get used to a controller. And it still feels terrible compared to a mouse. Years and years of playing quake 3 and unreal tournament kinda biased me towards a mouse.
-
Does the in game aim assist not mess with u on keyboard and mouse?
-
No. Just another form of controller. I'm gash with keyboard and mouse, definitely not an advantage for me. Unless it's affecting rate of fire or the dps of a gun then it's not cheating imo.
-
You Have NOT summoned me! Seriously?! Why ask this. Keyboard and mouse is a peripheral just as a controller is. It is preference to the the user, not the community. Look how many people are rocking Kontrol freeks or scuf controllers. Thats like going to a street fight tournament and asking if a gamepad is cheating vs a controller. In the end it is user preference. A rapid fire or otherwise modded device is cheating, lag switches etc.

I don't mind. It doesn't impact a game like Destiny.
-
It gives and advantage, and it feels unfair because of that. Not cheating though.
