If they're making a "Destiny 2" it better be worth my money. If not, I'm not spending $60 dollars on crap I already own. Bungie's just making money off of $20-$40 expansions that are fun for a week. Just hope it's better than the current game. Sorry to anyone this offends.

  • Destiny 2 is a sequal as in whole new game, ttk was an expansion.. Theres a difference.. Expect destiny 2 to be similar size if not bigger than Destiny original release

Ik the difference. Just don't know if I'm going to spend $60 on a game just because they want more money.

  • Okay right,i see your point but also take this as an example, i dont know what games you like.. (and im not comparing these games either) but call of duty comes out what, once every year? 2 years? People buy them one after the other, mass effect 1&2&3 all of the final fantasy games.. World of warcraft and its many expansions.. You buy the original (modern games now all usually come with a season pass which is similar price to the actual game) and then when the sequel comes out you buy that, i honestly dont see why people have a problem with buying the add ons, and then the expansions or sequal.. When thats what all games do.. Obviously if you dont play the game anymore or dont like original usually you wont buy the sequal.. There was no way destiny was just going to be a stand alone game that kept releasing free content for the next X amount of years.. No game does that!

That's true. I just feel like they're not transferring characters. It would even be easier to just add major updates. Just add code to the current game instead of re-scripting it all. My only two issues are that I have to earn $60 (I'm only 12) again and that they might not transfer the characters. I would hate it if I had to restart my characters. I do see your point, however.

  • I honestly expect them 100 percent to allow us to carry over the characters that we have created.. Same way you can in mass effect 1 2 and 3.. Its a style of game that to be honest i would be shocked if they didnt carry over the characters, your character should stay with you all the way untill destiny ends, i see your concern there though
