Dark Souls 3 already did. There are a lot of other franchises that did as well. I'm still confused why companies still support last gen.

Their is still a ton on old gen=more sales

That active base is ever shrinking. And it's still costly to make 7th gen games. At this point, it's time to cut losses.

I considered that. If you noticed, most of the companies still releasing on last gen are the big greedy ones who only care about money and disregard the quality of the game. Just look at Black Ops 3 and Activision. The last Gen didn't even have a campaign!
