Downgrading the game polishings on old gen does not harm new gen. You still have provided zero reasoning as to why old gen should be abandoned. The way destiny was programmed, it can be ran on ALL platforms without issue, ask the bungie guys who made destiny yourself. You just WANT to be an elitist.
