Because it brings the quality of the game down and, they couldn't do 60 FPS or anything like that.

They can do 2 different versions of the game for each gen system. They already did this with NBA2K and Blops 3

Not necessarily but, I think it might be kinda cool.

Depends on who you ask. Some people don't give a shit about it (like myself) but will never deny it looks & feels better.
