THey should take what they learned with multi-player reskin it with a story worth my time. And get rid of those garbage grimore junk that's totally worthless to this game. I'm sick and tired of Grimore. I had a friend that wanted all grimore score. I said dont' waste your time just shoot that's all destiny was made for, shooting bad guys with friends.
Thus far they have proven that Story is just a Macguffin to play this game. Crud story followed by solid game-play.

From my very first day here I thought game play was awesome but story muddled poop turned into a chocolate bar for us to eat. I mean Twilight Zone makes more sense then this games simple plot. I mean even Transformers Revenge of the Fallen has more plot then Destiny.
By the way you made a good point. That I agree with. Rant is not about you, but about lack of story of this game.

Yep. Destiny has the potential for amazing lore. It just needs to be in the game! So hopefully with Destiny 2 they'll finally work on this issue.

Edited by ZHX1138: 2/12/2016 9:42:21 PMI wanted story. I could care less for a sequel or a current gen only release or whatever as long as it has a real story worth investing in. Because were basically playing Earth Defense Force. (aka a game with decent gameplay with no story) which isn't bad in itself but, doesn't do anything what they claim as having a immersive story.

Yea pretty much. xD

Edited by ZHX1138: 2/12/2016 10:06:10 PMFunny read this:
The game is a third-person shooter featuring large play areas and waves of mecha and giant insects. Players control either a foot soldier (Storm-1) who uses conventional weaponry such as assault and sniper rifles, shotguns, and rocket-propelled grenades or a jetpack-equipped soldier (Pale Wing) who uses energy-based weaponry.[3] Most of the game's missions are cleared by eliminating all enemies present, starting with giant ants on earlier stages and eventually progressing to giant lizard enemies.[8] A number of vehicles such as a tank, helicopter and a hover-bike are available in some missions for players to board and attack enemies with. However, only the Storm-1 unit can use the vehicles.[3] Split screen co-operative mode. The player on the left is controlling the PaleWing soldier. The player on the right, controlling the infantryman, is driving a tank. A total of 300 different weapons are available between the two characters, but players are limited to carrying two weapons during missions. Weapons are unlocked by picking up containers dropped by enemies. Every weapon picked up during play will add a random weapon of the character's to the selection, duplicate weapons are discarded. Armor chips and medical kits, also dropped by enemies, increase the character's maximum possible health and recover lost health respectively.[9] There are a total of 71 missions spread over 7 environments to play through,[citation needed] the first mission taking place in London.[10] Five difficulty levels are available for each mission. Half-medals are awarded for completing a mission on a set difficulty with either character. Completing the same stage with the other character results in a complete medal. Once a player has collected all the medals for every mission, "Impossible" mode is unlocked.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Global_Defence_Force Does this sound similar or what?

In fact I've enjoyed the gameplay from this game so much I actually buying Earth Defense Force 2 for PlayStation Vita. Just to experience some godzilla action without Context. Because Destiny is so similar I want to try it out. lol.

Edited by ZHX1138: 2/12/2016 10:04:18 PMIt isn't bad in itself but it doesn't mark what they promised being a immersive amazing story. Mind you I've come from games like Mass Effect 2. Story is great in that game-play decent. Destiny has good gameplay but none of that story at all. The irony is that If I do enjoy it just as much as Destiny. My claim will be true!

Agreed. I think(or hope) it will get better in time. They improved it a tad with TTK but it still has a long ways to go.

Edited by ZHX1138: 2/12/2016 9:47:21 PMYeah me too. Which is why I try to look at this positive. IT seems like they are trying to fix Destiny 1 with this entire year of updates and final expansion. I mean they have to leave us with a good taste to make us want to buy Destiny 2 after all. IF they went with Destiny 2 this year, I think I would have been destined out of wanting to continue with this franchise.
