How did Republicans manage to get themselves affiliated with the color Red?
The biggest anticommies wear the same color as the commies. How the hell did this happen?

Well my take on it is that the Dixie Democrats where linked with the color red and when they joined the republicans if the would change their politics the republicans became associated with red.
