I can’t tell you guys how many times Deej has said that petitions are unnecessary. He's said that he looks at feedback in all its forms, even the venom spitting, eye-roll-inducing way that so many App-Holes in these forums choose to go about it. A major part of Deej's job is to provide the decision-makers the feedback we produce. I'm very certain that they hear all our lynch-mob chants.
An argument can be made that labeling something PETITION causes it to trend, thereby ensuring that Deej sees it first thing when he wakes up in a cold sweat every night. This may be valid, but only Deej could answer that.
Evidently people still think that by bumping enough “signatures” on the damn thing that it will make ANY difference in the actualization of these demands. Please... just stop. Make your case without the click-bait. Most of the time the power of click-bait is being used for something completely asinine anyway. (i.e. nerf this/that or... exactly what I'm attempting here)
No matter how many people are asking for any these things, the people working at Bungie are going to do…
1) What’s best for the Publisher and Developer (fiscally and contractually)
2) What’s possible for the programmers to execute cost-effectively
3) What’s best for the game
4) What people want
And likely they’ll prioritize it in that order. Some old examples to illustrate the above include the still glitched and broken VoG raid, the demand for a trading system, or the super high demand for more matchmaking. There’s a significant demand for all these things. There has been since day 1 for most of it. These things will never happen because of the above reasons. (I'll gladly choke on my words if they ever get implemented, raid matchmaking FTW)
I personally hope they DO buff the old Legendaries. But a petition will do nothing except make baby Jesus cry. (and me, evidently)
Deej has heard you and told his people. They will do, or do not.
For Funk’s sake, stop “petitioning”
/end rant
I will now welcome the community's voice into my rear.
