Is it ever going to get fixed? Because at the moment it's range is terrible, hit detection is way off, accuracy and handling is poor at best and it fires blanks. They took a perfectly good and balanced gun (all they needed to fix was the one shot glitch and a very TINY adjustment to range and that was it) and made it worse than garbage.
GG Bungie.

Lol that Gun is Junk!
-
It's crazy inaccurate
-
Yeah I haven't used a Hawkmoon since year 1 used to be my main.

Edited by Hawpy: 2/15/2016 5:03:11 PMAside from the problems with hit detection and Range, surely I can't be the only one that thinks this is a huge "F U" to Xbox players? Here, have that weapon you've been waiting for a year to get. Don't worry, we "balanced" it so you can use it with no complaints from the enemies. True, because you can't hit the bloody enemies now.
-
Just need to make the hit detection right again
-
You're doing it wrong....its called First Curse.
-
I disagree. Hawk moon is my main gun, I use it for just about everything. I think hawk moon is in the perfect state as it is.

Edited by Il G i z m o Il: 2/15/2016 9:18:19 PMI got a phantom medal with it last night sooooo...
-
Every hand cannon was nerfed because of 3 Exotics mostly.
-
Folks are still effective with it, so I think it's fine. I'd love to see AR's get a buff. Those things lose out to almost every other gun at any range.
-
It's still my go to gun in pvp if I'm going try hard
-
I ran into a guy who was able to 2 shot me every time. It's fine
-
Hawkmoon recks in crucible, just pace your shots.
-
It's actually not that bad tbh....
-
Hawkmoons power got absorbed into tlw.
-
Honestly any weapon that varies it's damage based off of luck is simply idiotic. Since everyone seems to say they liked the feel of the base gun pre nerfs I'd be fine with seeing that gun come back with different, non luck based perks. But as is I am glad this gun is useless at the moment. There is nothing more frustrating than knowing that the reason you got killed was because of bad luck than because you got outplayed in my opinion.

Hawkmoon was the gun no one cared if they died from, because they could use the gun too. It was the epitome of balanced weaponry. It rarely one shotted and the only time it ever bothered anyone that it was one shot, was in trials. And that wasn't out of anger. That was out of the heat of the moment.
-
Hawkmoon was my favorite weapon pre-patch it just got so shit now though after the most recent patch. I couldn't put my finger on what exactly it was but it just doesn't feel right...
-
hit detection is awful.
-
Hawkmoon with the Crimson buff is ridiculous. I got one shot a couple of times by this one dude yesterday.

Edited by B ELem xii: 2/15/2016 7:09:36 PMBiggest problem I've seen is the phantom bullets. Yes I pace my shots and don't max its rate of fire but you still get them phantom bullets. They nerfed the range by 20 points and that is just waaaaaaay to much. The Eyasluna has better base range(38) then the Hawkmoon with Hammer Forged (32).

Edited by Neutrill: 2/15/2016 7:04:57 PMUse Accurized ballistics and it's pretty damn good again. It's horrible now with Aggressive.

My hawkmoon is doing pretty good in crimson doubles

I finally got one last night from the lighthouse, been grinding for that gun like you wouldn't believe. Being a day one player iv always loved hand cannons (fatebringer/thorn) and I finally got to use hawkmoon last night and I was pretty upset, I wish I could of gotten the chance to use it in it's former glory.

"A Little Voice" for the win
