So, this Hawkmoon problem...
Is it ever going to get fixed? Because at the moment it's range is terrible, hit detection is way off, accuracy and handling is poor at best and it fires blanks. They took a perfectly good and balanced gun (all they needed to fix was the one shot glitch and a very TINY adjustment to range and that was it) and made it worse than garbage.

2 RepliesHawkmoon definitely needs a stability increase to offset that range reduction. Hand cannons in general need more accuracy when rapidly firing within their intended range and the hit detection needs to be improved. They also need to find a way to differentiate the dmg difference between different hand cannon archetypes. They all roughly kill in the same number of shots.

1 ReplyI totally agree. Bullet detection is wayyy off. The other day I shot dude who was crouching and aiming down sights from the point blank range 8 times and the -blam!-er didnt even die. And no it wasnt the LAG this time

1 ReplyMy first love. One of my 1st exotics in yr one and loved it. Terrible in PvE and PVP now. I had no problem them nerfing the double perk in one bullet but the range and accuracy nerf destroyed it. Shame really.

Hawkmoon used to be a god send in pvp and my go to weapon, now its worst than its own legendary, such a shame. :/

1 ReplyI played all through year 1 waiting for the godly hawkmoon to drop! It was the only gun I really really wanted as I use only HCs. Two weeks before TTK it finally dropped and those two weeks were heaven!!! But yes, now it's a shadow of what it used to be... It's rubbish actually!! You are right, they destroyed it!! What s shame...

It isn't a Hawkmoon problem they screwed all handcannons but still failed on the one they were mainly after which was The Last Word that can still do just as well as it did especially in the right hands since it isn't as accurate as it was. I almost forgot they wanted the Thorn taken out also didn't get there with it either except leaving it at year 1 levels.

Got destroyed by it today. Plan destiny from 10pm-5A.M. because my work dont care. Everytime i ran in to a hawkmoon, i got -blam!-ed up

I got rekt by it a couple days ago. Seems to me like it still works pretty decently. Hell I even got double headshot a couple times by it.

The main problem is the reserve ammo. It lasts about one minute then you spend the rest of the game looking for it. Lame!
