I've had a Hawkmoon since November of last year and I can tell you right now that its balanced. I want the old gun back because it was fun one-shotting people, but it's balanced.

You're an idiot. Handcannon accuracy, range, and reserve ammo are still -blam!-ed up.

Breh I still use handcannons as a main weapon and they're fine. It's the only weapon that rewards you for heavy precision accuracy, and they fit exactly where they need to be. Calling me an idiot is an idiotic thing to do. You're probably one of those people who still think fusion rifles are unusable.

Last crucible tournament would beg to differ with your shotgun assumption, as most top tier teams tended to triumph using them. But other than that I guess I'd agree

I'd beg to differ. Been using an eyasluna and my susanoo for the last month and I've been doing fantastic. You're the reason why people cry nerf for all these weapons. Can't adapt so you just use what the big boys tell you to.

I see what you mean man. But what is the point of a hard hitting exotic hand cannon like Hawkmoon if you can get legendary hand cannons like eayasluna or Uffern HC4 with insane rolls. I picked up the Uffern HC4 hand cannon from the gun smith a while back that had luck in the chamber, and smallbore. It outperforms hawkmoon pretty consistently. What is the point of having a gun like hawkmoon in the game if you have legendary weapons that consistently have better stats? As for fusions i agree i use them quite a bit but i do have to say if they have lower stability they kinda suck.

If it wasnt exotic. The Eyasluna is way better and thats just wrong. I wanted Hawkmoon more than anything in Destiny last year. I finally get it and Im so disappointed. Best looking gun in the game though imo.

Also, eyasluna is better because of the additional range, but there's little room for error because of what I said in my previous post :)

The cool thing about Hawkmoon is that there's a lot of wiggle room with it that you don't get with other handcannons. You can get body shots and still 3 shot people, or get a combination between precision and and body and still win fights. Like I stated, it's not what it was before, being able to combat scout rifles and snipers, but it still packs a punch within its niche.
