Hawkmoon is the gun I have the most kills with. Nowadays it is less deadly than a autorifle. AT least with an autorifle you know you are hitting something, even with damage fall off. With the hawkmoon (and almost all other hand cannons but it worse in the hawkmoon) damage fall off is only a problem if the shot registers and it won't register most of the times. Doesn't matter if you are aiming well, you're more likely not to register a shot. Maybe the first shot will register, all of the following...who knows. When it does you feel great and think hand cannons are the coolest weapon ever. Most of the time it just sucks. This is a problem with all hand cannons, accuracy and bloom. The hawkmoon is the most nerfed weapon in Destiny and they finally did it, they killed the hawkmoon :S
