Grimoire is a direct indicator of experience and dedication, as the majority of Grimoire Points come from killing a lot of enemies or with a certain weapon, and winning/completing PvP and PvE activities. If someone has a high Grimoire Card Score, that means that they are very experienced with Destiny, and have likely been playing since Year 1. However, experience in and of itself usually indicates the skill of those who have it: The more you play, the better you slay.
