Ok, false alarm!
Some of you mighta noticed I canceled it, which was how it was for awhile. But then I realized that it wouldn’t be fitting if it ended like this (still need to kill off some characters...kekeekekke)
Plus, it would be an asshole move by me.
So, without further ado….
Chapter 26
Myra threw a ‘smoke’ grenade at the two warlocks, who were trying to grab heavy ammo. The oblivious duo died within seconds.
“Whoah, what did you put in it this time?” Deuce cheered, reloading her Red Death.
Myroni-213 grinned. “Well, that concoction was nerve gas, with some of my ‘vex pudding’.” She winked at Deuce.
They spawned in again, resetting the round.
“What will this be, our twentieth straight win?” She asked, pulling out her Bad Juju.
Deuce frowned. “Nah, twenty-third.” Suddenly, Myra twitched violently and her red eyes changed to a dull brown. She yawned.
“Are you -blam!-ing kidding me?” Deuce complained, watching as Myra fell asleep on the spot.
Myroni-213 was strange- multiple wipes had disrupted her personality processor, causing her to have multiple personalities. And any of her split personalities could take over at any time. Her lazy side seemed to have taken over.
She kicked the Exo in the ribs. “Wake up!” Myra simply groaned, mumbled something that sounded suspiciously like ‘I just wan’ pizza’ and fell back to sleep.
Deuce facepalmed, then checked her radar to see two blips closing in fast, from opposite directions, one directly behind her.
If I can do this… She blinked backwards, her finger pressing the trigger. Got one…
“Oh, -blam!- you!” yelled the female warlock, closing in behind the Taken guardian and activating her Nova Bomb.
Deuce blinked forward.
She switched to her sniper rifle, rotating once, then twice in midair.
She turned around.
And pulled the trigger.
======================
Sanders’ tablet binged. He pulled it from the table and opened it.
Huh, looks like Shaxx has chosen his Play of the Day. He thought.
He clicked play.
It was Deuce, and he watched as she blinked forward, and while dodging a Nova Bomb, switched to her sniper, did a 360, and no-scoped the warlock in the face.
“HOLY MOTHER OF THE TRAVELER!” He shouted, and Ayria busted into his room, concerned.
“What’s going on?”
Sanders showed her the clip.
Her mouth dropped open. “SON OF A BITCH!”
Suddenly, there was a loud commotion outside and Ayria flung the window open, to see a bunch of guardians yelling at their tablets and some of them spamming air horns.
=====================
“Nice save, Deuce.” Myra cheered, watching the replay. Zara just nodded her assent. “Oh by the way, I need to stop by the tower for a while. I need to reload my poisons.”
“Okay,” Deuce set her ship in neutral. “Just meet me back here when you’re done, ok?”
“Kay.” She responded.
Myra walked briskly toward her apartment, only to see the door was cracked open. She twitched, and her blue eyes went to a fiery orange.
“-blam!- -blam!- -blam!-ity -blam!-!” She cursed, peeking through the door. “Look, get the -blam!- out of my apartment before I kill you!” She growled.
Suddenly, there was the sound of retreating footsteps and she turned to see a fleeing figure. She whipped out a knife and threw it at his feet; the figure yelped in pain as his foot was skewered to the ground. A recognizable black object fell from his side.
“WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING WITH MY GUN!?” She bellowed, grabbing him by the collar of his shirt and dragging him back into her apartment.
The figure, now recognizable as a Warlock, winced. “S-Sorry….”
Myra twitched, and suddenly her orange eyes flickered to red. The Warlock gulped audibly as a smirk etched itself onto the Exo’s face.
“I know exactly what to do with you.” She cackled, dragging him into her apartment.
======================
Ralph awoke to a bright light searing his eyes, and he flinched. Where am I? Am I dead? He thought, vaguely remembering a crazy Exo chick dragging him inside her apartment then hitting him with a crowbar.
He went to rub his head, and found he couldn’t. He looked down to see his hands and feet strapped to the table with velcro. He also noticed he was only in his boxers.
“Ah, I see you’ve awaken.” A voice said, and he turned to see the Exo pull on a pair of rubber gloves, then reach into a sanitized metal pan.
“W-what are you doing?” He whimpered as she withdrew a needle. She gave him a warm smile, red eyes boring into his blue ones. He strained upward, trying desperately to free himself.
“Tsk, tsk.” The robot reprimanded, patting his chest. “It’s ok, test subject 397. You’re not going to be awake for most of it.”
Ralph suddenly became aware of the crates that surrounded him; all filled with various animals, some dead.
“What the hell?” He shouted, beginning to panic. All the crates were labeled with numbers and certain tags; 267 (DECEASED) 269 (DECEASED)...396 (DECEASED).
“LEMME THE FUGG OUT OH TRAVELER!” He yelled, beginning to cry as he felt a sharp prick in his wrist.
His vision started to swim, and he saw the Exo frowning and staring at the now empty syringe. “Hmm, I think I might have gotten the two mixed up… Which one was a nerve toxin? I can’t remember..”
And everything faded to black.
==================
Deuce took a long sip of her slushee, glancing at the clock in her ship. “What’s taking her so long?” She complained, leaning back in her chair. She opened her tablet.
She grinned as she watched the Play of the Day over again. “Might as well bask in my own glory.”
===================
Well, that's a wrap for now, folks. Hope you all enjoyed!
