What should be the name of Destiny's Fourth Class?
[b]You guys voting Paladin do realize in the Reef there are only seven the rank of Paladin at a single time right? Cool name, but it might mess with the lore... screw the lore, vote for it anyways. If you don't like the names, Suggest some more!!! I'll redo the poll again if I have too..[/b]
[i]In a previous poll, the greater majority of players desired to see a Fourth Class in Destiny over a fourth subclass or expanding the existing subclasses. It's not much of a surprise as the Fourth Guardian Class has been talked about and rumored since even before the launch of Destiny.
So let's say Bungie had plans on bringing a Fourth Class into Destiny, what do you think it should be called?[/i]

2 RepliesAll some pretty sweet names, but I'm not sure another class is necessary. I'd rather see a progression of the current classes. What if you could evolve your Hunter/Titan/Warlock and start blending subclasses? Tether with throwing knife and blink strike could be fun. Or not; you get the idea. Obviously things would need to be scaled and tweaked to avoid OP configurations, but this is far more appealing to me than a fourth character I need to manage.

I like the idea of a mechanical based Sentinal class. Stuff like sending out a wave of mind controlled nano tech as a super, or a device that you stuck in the ground and anyone who comes within a 20 meter radius is lasered in half. Kinda like a defender class for territory control.

It would be neat for this to be precipitated by Variks reestablishing the House of Judgment from the tatters of the Wolves. This would give us a new class as well as a new race - the Eliksani or Redeemed. It would also open a fourth character slot. I only recently got going on the play through with my Hunter and I need to stress how big this is in helping to remedy the burnout. It is fun playing through the game again. It would be even funner to do so with a new class and race.

A samurai or something that has to do with melee weapons as a primary traitof the character. We have everything but a melee specialist. A meathead titans, sneaky hunters, and a magic loving warlocks. All we're missing is a melee class.
